North Jersey Partners would like to help you get started by providing you with the necessary information and list of available resources from the State of New Jersey, the U.S. Government, and other business organizations. This three-piece series of Resource Guides entitled, Entrepreneurship Seize the Opportunity, was designed to answer some of the basic questions about starting a small business as well as lead you to the appropriate resources to assist you in the process. Perfecting Your Pitch - A Compelling Case for Investment
Perfecting Your Pitch is a presentation that helps those starting new business ventures to know what and how to present information in ways that pique investors' interest. The presentation, developed by North Jersey Partners in conjunction with NJEntrepreneur.com, provides an outline for the investor presentation, reviews confidentiality tactics, illustrates ways to appeal to the investor's needs, and provides a checklist of types of information to cover.

Build Your Financial Model and Valuation of Early Stage Companies
The New Jersey Center for Innovation Acceleration, funded by North Jersey Partners, is presenting the Build Your Financial Model and Valuation of Early Stage Companies program, consisting of two hands-on and intensive workshops to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs in raising capital.
Financial Modeling Essentials for Raising Capital, a two-day workshop, will cover all the key aspects of developing a financial model including profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and applying valuation techniques for your business. The course is scheduled as follows:

Evening Entrepreneurial Training to Improve Skills in the TLD Market
Are you an entrepreneur in the Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution Industry but find it hard to make training classes during the day? You can improve your skills with an evening course offered by North Jersey Partners in conjunction with Fast Trac and The B.O.S.S. (The Business One Stop Service). The eight-week training program will include creating business and marketing plans as well as explaining loan packaging and the government procurement process.
